Grime and Caricature
As an all-round make-up artist can create various characters, using special make-up and techniques to create a believable character.
It is only possible for an actor to portray his role credibly if he or she has the feeling that the character is fully present in all appearances. A good theater or film make-up is just as important as a striking facial expression or the right accessory.
The most experience I have gained was among others. at Neill Gorton Studio in Aylesbury England, where I learned most of the techniques of make-up and special effects for TV and film.

Especially in movies, TV commercials, or theaters, many special effects are used to create lifelike blood wounds, blisters, burns, scars and bruises. Make-up is also often used by Facedians for making bald heads and aging, for example.
